Spanglish yoga class in 2°B
The last Friday, we did an improvised spanglish yoga class with the pupils of 2°B . They was very nervous and I proposed them to do a different class. They said yes and this is the result. They was very excited and enjoied a lot!! The following time I'll say you before to prepare the necessary materiales like a mat and a blanket. Look at their faces, I love them!!

In the unit number 2, the pupils was learning the present simple grammar. The final activity to this was represent a theatre using this grammar. They worked in groups and they decided the form to do. In the 6° B class they chose do It themselves. In 6°A they prefered do It with puppets.
En la unidad número 2, los/as alumnos/as han aprendido la gramática del presente simple. La actividad final para ello ha sido representar un teatro usando esta gramática. Ellos/as trabajaron en grupos y decidieron la forma de hacerlo. En la clase de sexto B eligieron representarlo ellos/as mismos/as mientras que en sexto A decidieron hacerlo con marionetas.

To prepare the Halloween party, the kids have complete a writting work with information about the halloween history, costumes, recipes and games. They did this work in groups. Then they made their own halloween costume using only recycling materials in an individual form. Here we have the results:

The pupils in 5º classes have worked during unit number 1 in the creation of a card game. During the work, we have learned and reviewed the present simple with basic questions and answers. The letters have served to do it orally. The students created the design of the card, the logo and the information that should be included. By voting, the winning logos were chosen and the result was this.
Los alumnos de 5º, han trabajado durante la unidad número 1 en la creación de un juego de cartas. Durante el trabajo, hemos aprendido y repasado el presente simple con preguntas y respuestas básicas. Las cartas les han servido para hacerlo de forma oral. Los/as alumno/as crearon el diseño de la targeta, el logo y la información que debían incluir. Mediante votación, se eligieron los logos ganadores y el resultado fue este.

COOPERATIVE WORK IN 5º CLASSES
The beginning of the course in 1º, 3º and 5º classes is very important because the pupils have been mix. For this, in 5º course we begin the English and the other subjects doing cooperative activities to create a good relations between the pupils. In my area, we use activities such as puzzle with sentences to do in groups.
El comienzo de curso en 1º, 3º y 5º es muy importante porque los alumnos han sido mezclados. Por ello, en 5º curso comenzamos las clases en todas las asignaturas haciendo actividades cooperativas para crear buenas relaciones entre los alumnos. En mi área, hemos usado actividades como puzzles con frases para hacer en grupos.

TEACHING EMOTIONS
During the first week of this course, the pupils of 2º course begin the English learning using emotions faces. The emotional learning is very important at school. If the pupils are not happy, it´s very difficult to them assimilate new concepts.
All days we begin the class with the question: How do you feel today?. The pupils choose one of their faces depending of their feeling in this moment. Then, one by one speak about it to the rest of their partners.

A year ago that day as today
began my journey as a member of Manuel Alonso. That day I showed up in the
center with part of my material, I met some colleagues, the management team and
the buildings of what was to be my new workplace. I arrived with great enthusiasm,
a lot of desire to learn and curiosity about the way of work that was carried
out here. What I could not imagine is that the expectations were going to
exceed what I had experienced during this course. It has been a year of
continuous learning, not only for my classmates but also for the students. With
each course I have been able to enjoy in a different way. But undoubtedly what
I liked the most was the way of working for projects in the third cycle in
which the results obtained have been excellent. I carry in my heart many
experiences with the students of sixth who will not be in the next course. They
have been exemplary courses in which it was very easy to work thanks to their
enthusiasm in each proposed activity. Many thanks to everyone for your
involvement
For the rest of my students
simply wish you have a great summer and enjoy the well-deserved rest as the
next course will see you again. Thanks also to the families who are behind
helping to work together to get the best results.

Hace un año que tal día como hoy comenzaba mi andadura como miembro del Manuel Alonso. Aquel día me presenté en el centro con parte de mi material, conocí a algunos compañeros, al equipo directivo y las instalaciones del que iba a ser mi nuevo centro de trabajo. Llegaba con mucha ilusión, muchísimas ganas de aprender y curiosidad ante la forma de trabajo que aquí se llevaba a cabo. Lo que no me podía imaginar es que las expectativas iban a superar con creces lo vivido durante este curso. Ha sido un año de aprendizaje continuo, no solo de mis compañeros sino también de los alumnos. Con cada curso he podido disfrutar de forma distinta. Pero sin duda lo que más me ha gustado ha sido la forma de trabajo por proyectos en el tercer ciclo en la que los resultados obtenidos han sido excelentes. Me llevo en el corazón muchas vivencias con los/as alumnos/as de sexto que ya no estarán el próximo curso. Han sido cursos ejemplares en los que resultaba muy fácil trabajar gracias a su entusiasmo en cada actividad propuesta. ¡muchas gracias a todos/as por vuestra implicación!.
Para el resto de mis alumnos/as simplemente desearos que paséis un estupendo verano y que disfrutéis del merecido descanso ya que el próximo curso os veré de nuevo. Gracias también a las familias que están detrás ayudando a remar conjuntamente para conseguir los mejores resultados.
Por último agradecer también a mis compañeros su acogida, somos un gran equipo y estoy muy orgullosa de formar parte de él.

The body with a yoga class
In the unit number 5, the pupils in second class are learning the parts of the body. We change the tradicional class using a yoga vídeo to do It in a funny form. You can see here the pupils had a Happy class!!

THE MOSQUE OF CÓRDOBA
The last Tuesday, the pupils of 5º grade was visiting Córdoba. Before and after the visit, we was working in the English class about this with the book "The Mosque of Córdoba told to children". They saw there, that the monument has a lot of visitants every day with different nationalities. It´s important to know that you can use the English language not only when you visit England or EEUU, visiting different countries in Spain too.

In the unit number 4, the pupils in 2º A and 2º B are learning the vocabulary of animals. In the grammar part, they must know the use of the verb can and can´t to say the actions that the animals can or not do. I really think that the best for to learn is using games, so here you have an example of this.The name of the game is: Simon says... When the pupil listen the action, they should represent following some rules.
En la unidad número 4, los alumnos en 2º A y 2º B están aprendiendo el vocabulario de los animales. En la parte gramatical, deben conocer el uso del verbo can y can't para decir las acciones que los animales pueden o no hacer. Realmente creo que lo mejor para aprender es usar juegos, así que aquí tienes un ejemplo de esto. El nombre del juego es: Simon dice ... Cuando el alumno escucha la acción, deberían representar siguiendo algunas reglas.
Yoga class in the English area
As we are learning the vocabulary about parts of the body, we use a yoga video to learn English in a different form using our body. With this activity, the pupils can develop the listening competence in the English area. It was very fun!!
